Giving Back

IT IS IMPORTANT TO ME TO GIVE BACK TO THIS AWESOME COMMUNITY THAT I GREW UP IN AND DECIDED TO RAISE MY OWN KIDS IN.  I HAVE CHOSEN 3 ORGANIZATIONS FOR MY CLIENTS TO CHOOSE FROM TO GIVE A PORTION OF MY COMMISSION TO WITH EACH SALE.

1. Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland’s mission is to empower and inspire all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as caring, productive, responsible citizens.  They are dedicated to ensuring that our community’s youth have greater access to quality programs and services that will empower their lives and build great futures.  The “Club Experience” offers daily access to a broad range of programs that promote academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles.  The kids benefit from trained, caring, professional staff and volunteers who help them enrich their lives, envision their goals, and achieve great futures.

2. Animal Allies Humane Society recognizes the importance of pets in people’s lives and is guided by a humane ethic to serve the community in many ways.  Animal Allies provides safe, temporary care for animals while they are readied for adoption, they provide people the opportunity to invite pets into their lives, and they save lives by transporting animals from shelters that are overcrowded.  They also educate the public about humane treatment and responsible guardianship of companion animals, they reduce overpopulation by altering animals in their care, and they intervene to help animals overcome medical and behavioral issues.

3. Damiano Center:  Clothes That Work provides work appropriate apparel for people who are homeless, low-income, or working poor. The program offers two outfits for those who are seeking employment, and five more outfits once someone gets the job. Guests are guided to appropriate apparel for various types of positions. In addition to clothing, Clothes That Work also provides accessories, and hygiene and beauty products.
